Quit smoking together

Every cigarette you smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, so smoking when you are pregnant or smoking around a pregnant woman harms the baby. Most pregnant smokers know this and try very hard to quit smoking. But quitting is even harder when partners, family members and friends are smoking around them.

We understand it is not easy to quit smoking, but we are here to help support you, your partner and other family members to quit smoking together.

  • We can help you, your partner and family members - we provide support to everyone.

Two services operate in Derby and Derbyshire. Live Life Better serves residents across the county and Livewell Derby supports residents who are living in the city.

Derbyshire residents can access free stop smoking services. If you're a Derbyshire resident (excluding Derby city), you can access support through Live Life Better Derbyshire or by calling 0800 0852299.

If you're a Derby city resident, you can access support to stop smoking Livewell Derby or by calling 01332 641254 to find out more about the services and support and to register.


Both Live Life Better Derbyshire and Livewell Derby offer a range of support to help you, your partner and family members stop smoking, including:
